Puts Big Danny in his place does that distance,I think Danny can only manage
300yds and a bit.
And he's got the world record,so he's ganna have to put more pratice in,so he is.

If that's the distance in the bottom right hand corner of the screen, he hits 824 feet, about 274 yards, fantastic cast but nowhere near the world record.

The yanks measure their casts in feet not yards/metres. Watched quite a few vids by this guy, hell of a caster imo.

I nearly cast over 500 yards on the heugh the other day. Sinker snapped off and nearly hit a big fishing boat sailing by. I held my breath but it fell short.

its just what the man said on one of his vids but i dont think theres a beach reel big enough to take 500 yards of 15lb+ line.

without measurement you can say anything, i was belting out using a 6600 d5 with 4oz on wirral, a guy there was saying he fishes around 180 yards with bait, ok suppose someone can, then i groundcast and as it landed the guy announced i had cast at least 250, which is strange as i had 150 mtrs of braid on the reel and there was still some on the spool

In the early 80's there was a rather big bloke ,who said he could do 200 metre's.And I think he did , cos he asked for a further 45 to be taken into consideration .
