Fished 3rd bay this afternoon with my uncle from 3 til 7 never had a bite til the turn of the tide my rod went crazy reeled it in and with a struggle to get it up the cliff even with help it was almost in touching distance and ping went my line and a big thud at the bottom looked over an it was 9lb + I was wounded but that's fishing

I was fishing camels the same time and missed a big slack liner, but like you say that's fishing!

Was that you on North Row Ends mate? I was on 1st Bay and saw your lights. Unlucky on your fish. I caught my two (much smaller) fish both just after the tide turned.

Yeah that was me I seen both of yous and there was no way of getting that fish without attempting the lift unless I want the rats to get it it gets cut of from the tide and only a certain state of the tide u can walk round but that takes half hour so I'd be hanging around for ever lol

I can't imagine how you could have got round like, you would have had to wait hours and like you say it would have been a feast for the rats by then. I would have tried the lift too. Hard luck mate.

correct me if im wrong.i was talking to you ? @ your mate.thought it was yous who tried to retreeve the fish at l/w.i was just going fishing when yous came up stairs.ps had 2 codling out myself both round the 3lb mark.was hoping for some bigger fish,still nice t for me @ the boss tonight. conditions looked spot on,plenty shooting stars about.thought marsden would of been full only one there for l/w,packed in at 3.:question:

Aye that was me it still had my trace in its mouth with sinker was trying on the off chance it got hung up close in by as expected if I didn't have bad luck I'd have no luck at all ha ha just wanted to know the weight if I could
