Marsden Beach 30/12/11

Fished Marsden beach today just before the high, first cast...
Caught this, my first cod was well chuffed.
2lb 9oz.

The tide was cuming in fast with freak waves cumming up behind me, headlamp was going dim and i started ****tin my self, especially with the tales ive heard of this ghost .
Any way, moved onto the steps were the life gaurd hut is had 1 cast, rod was nocking but managed to lose it in a snag, gutted.

Packed up and decided to head else were, got to the little beach between the groyne and the peir, 2 lad's fishing so decided to see what they had caught.
Went back to my car, with the keys in and still running, went to open the door and all the doors locked.
spent an hour trying to get in, no luck, asked the lads to help which they kindly did. But we had no luck. No option but to chuck a brick thru the window to get in, absolutly gutted.

Was so buzzed about my fish and looking forward to fishing else were then this

Thanx to the lads that spent time trying to getting me in and sorry i stoped you's fishing.
Il repay the favor 1 day.


Gutted about window but still buzzed about my fish.
Back out there tomorrow

nice catch mate sorry to hear about the car ,i had done the same last year locked the doors ,went fishing gets back looking for me keys noticed them on the parcel shelf in the boot which i had closed shut when i got ready and left earlier ,had to walk 4 mile home has i had no cash on is for a bus etc with a bag of fish box and gear and a floaty suit on a was knackered and soaked ,got a lift back down with a spare set of keys i had at home
