Marsden beach with Eric 29/11

We tried a few hours down the grotto beach the neet , canny few fishing when I got down at 7 , Eric had been fishing for a bit with nee luck .
My first cast with pennel lug and a coalie happy days , a couple of codling had been caught a bit further along so hopes where high .
Eric then had a good knock on rag and razor , striking into a 2lb plus cod which he returned safely , things where looking up .
Nowt but a couple of snags snapping hook lengths ,
Then on my 2nd last cast a small tap , when I picked the rod up the fish was banging away on lug and razor ,
Weighing 3lb 1 onz
A canny night and not as cold as forecast
