Fished a club match last night with my mate managed to get a codling 2 lb 12 and lost one on the lift . Then my mate Keven hall got one out 5lb 3 followed by a smaller one later in the night, not sure of the weight , bait was razor mussel and lug . We could hear some shouting along from us so Keven went to see what was up , turned out to be Paul Harrison with a cod of 8lb 12 fair to say he was over the moon and rightly so it was a beauty . Got one picture of Kevens fish then my phone died hope it's loaded

Yes mate lost a ton of gear as well it's not normally bad there

How do you get the fish up mate? I wanna try it bit I was wondering how you get the big fish up like the lads 8lber haha

The only thing I had to get up that heavy was a ball of wead mate , I had help for that . Take a mate with you and have a go , if you get a good fish one hold the rod one pull the line through the eyes . Good luck
