We had our best ever turn out tonight, an amazing 29 anglers turned up for
this evenings "cash match".
And "up and coming" low water specialist Martin Bailey, won with this Cod weighing exactly 4 pound.

Mind you? it was a close shave as Tony cook had this cod weighing 3lb 14.

Well done martin and another excellent turn out tony but wheres ell tell!! is he luring folk into a sense of self confidence or is he scared of the competition these days lol :D

First and foremost, well done Tony, really pleased for you at long last your first open win.

Where's ell tel, well he's got a bad back and is not fishing just yet, but just wait til it gets well (November hopefully)

Martin is a worthy winner and knows just where and when to fish (Watch and learn Tony).

Hi Jim, getting better day by day, might even be good for a comeback in the nesa shore comp, you never know, especially with some help from my Apprentice Martin.lol

Fantastic result tony mate well done ..terry hope the back gets better soon mate and look forward to your return ..martin, glocka and tony are the guys to beat at the moment ..bit more competition around this year and with some decent fish around and the true winter yet to start all amounts to a crackin season ...but who will become the true supremo :D

Paul, back getting better by the day now. Almost ready to have an outing to see how it goes.
Tony, Glocka ? no problems mate but Martin a different kettle of fish, he knows where most of my better fish have come from and fishes the same marks and he's hungry to win which makes it much more interesting.
But theres life in the old dog yet.
Hope to see you accross a few times this year, November is a very good month given a bit of sea running on the night.
