Just wondering what all the fuss is about with metal band rods?
To coin a phrase " back in the day " any rod with metal bands or brass ferrules where frowned upon and male and female spigots which where whipped and varnished ( nee high build then ) where the dogs
Then came butt whips ( nowt bondage ) the yanky cross wrap whippings with high build , if ya had one ya thought ya where Rex hunt
Now we've went back to metal bands with nee whippings !!
A lot if fisherman are tackle tarts ( myself included ) and need to look at how and where there're fishing , and not at there tackle .
Still nice to buy a bargain off here when someone's upgrading
