Middens/north pier :-)

Fished the middens first off was abit windy but fishable fished from 5:30 to 8:45 started off really well with knocks every chuck and on my 4th cast my line went slack reel up and straight into a fish codling of about 1 1/2lb nice fish
My pal was havin ne luck its only his second sea fishing trip aswell shame eh !! At 8:45 decided to give the pier a shot got to the end and found 2 lads fishing the botton level and 2 on the top so plenty space
First chuck got nowt but afta that it was manic codling coalies whiting and flattys for every 1 only small stuff mind
Last cast decided to go abit further oot and bang staright into a whiting of aboot 1lb not bad this time of year

Me pak managed to catch though he had a rockling from the left side of the pier atleast it wasnt a blank though eh !
Crackin session like cannit wait for them winter coddies now !!!

well done on ya session Dave i was fishing the lower level had 14 fish all whiting except 1 coalie it was a double shot a cast ran out of bait so called it a night didn't wanna throw fresh peeler at then so we peeled it all and it went in the freezer for another day. They were taking anything i was just using mackerel as bait and caught on both hooks all a canny size biggest 1lb mark with a huge eye lol good night nice weather and good fishing

Didnt realise It was you mate aye it turned out canny from the end of the pier straight out to sea bowt 70-80yds you could pick codling up aye the witing were a night mare gna be hard to get through during winter aswell if its like this now
As for throwin decent crab at them i gave my last 2 away to the lads on the topand me blacks rag mussell and macky lol
