middleton pier thismorning

well i got home after my night shift at 0600 got changed and headed down to hartlepool sea was far to big to fish the beech marks so headed to middleton got there for about0730 not a sloe in sight got set up and started fishing just over low water nice big sea running breakers even coming over the top of the pier where i was only just tho anyway only managed 3casts before i got a nasty nest when my shocker snapped wind was howling a gale only managed a slack liner packed up at 0945 wind got the better of me but at least i can say i tryed might try again in the morning if that wind drops off a little

We went down to the pier same day at about 12 pm looked far to rough to chance it . The waves coming right up the wall and it was not even high tide yet plus we took along someone who had never been fishing before LOL should have seen look on his face when he seen waves crashing into pier

Went round to pilot pier instead alot of people had same idea about 30 on it

couple of good cod got caught along pier nephew caught a nice one 3.9 lbs

Looking over towards middleton pier at high water it was good choice not to go near that pier
