went out at first light this morning, had a look at the heugh nobody was on fishing and the sea was almost coming over but not quite, decided to give it a miss as i knew the sea was getting up with the N.E winds so i opted for the Middleton, arrived at 8.30 dead on low water , the sea was perfect good swell on and the colour of mulligatawny soup, fished it by myself for two and a half hours without a bite and you know what it didn't really matter, i was just enjoying myself being out fishing , later on more lads came on and i had a great crack with them all, i left at 3 in the afternoon, the fishing ,was great, the fish caught was nothing to write home about, final tally two pin whiting, bait used rag, razor, and squid, and enjoyed every minute of it.
