went pikeing with my good friend ian alexander this morning early start 6 am lovely morning nothing as usual on the dead baits to much feed in the water apparentley tried various lures then ian tried one on the surface and i heard him shouting so i ran with the net and ian had a fine jack pike of 6lb 15oz hit him soon as his lure hit the water 15mins later i had a take which was brief then me and ian seen a canny bow wave so i covered it bang fish on just smaller than ians his was fat and mine was skinny just like me and him [you said it ian] good day ian c u soon . that 20lb has still got my name on it so you,ll have to get to the back of the cue.

A Few Photos Of Our Morning

Hello,
Sorry for the delay in posting the photos but better late than never. Here's a few snaps from our morning.

First fish, a jack of 6lb 15oz.

Then Stan (fishfingers) was into one, again on a surface plug but this time a popper.

Stans fish safely landed after a few anxious moments as it took him around a post and some weeds.

Back to fight another day.

All in all a canny little morning with some good company.

Regards Ian
