We headed out about half 2 this afternoon seeing Chris and Deano steaming out aboard Sable as we arrived. Had a bit of crack with Alan on the Time Bandit before we both headed out.

It was a slow afternoon fish wise especially for me, think we have been spoiled on the last few trips out and tonight was back to reality

I managed a half pound tommy codling all afternoon while Codfathersfather had a mad 5 minuits and landed 5 or 6 codling around 3.5 - 4 lb before we gave in to the building swell and headed in.

Aye got them over high water Chris, bit less drift. Couldn't find them again tho.

Sounds like they only wanted it when the tide eased off, I had a good couple of hours early this morning but when tide picked up fishing died, about an hour before low water fish appeared again, another hour of really good fishing then dropped off so headed in. Still good to get out and catch, even if it is your senior crew that do the catching!!
