Picked my Dad up this morning and the fog wasn't to bad at horden but by the time we reached Hartlepool it was like pea soup
We hummed and harred but decided to give it a go and head north to hopefully less fog.
Met easyfish at the pier end and we headed out together, safety in numbers or summit like that
The fog got worse as we went on and almost decided to call it off but we persevered.
First stop was a little wreck and we had a couple of drifts together before easyfish moved further inshore and we headed north to another spot and finally clear sky's
Finished the day with 20 odd cod up to 8.5 lb and a few pouting, average size of cod 5-6 lb , we were happy with that in November.
Also heard of a few mackeral being caught over the radio
Most fish taken on baited hokies or baited trace, had planned to anchor up and do some boat casting but drifting was working so we stuck to it.
Not what we wanted to see leaving the lock
Easyfish's fine vessel
Best fish of the day to Codfathersfather
What they been feeding on
A couple of pics thanks to Easyfish, Cheers.
