We headed out just after 7 this morning to a lovely flat sea for a change.
The water was very clear today, clearest i've seen it in a while.

Ended up with plenty cod to 7 lb, a little gurnard and loads of mackeral.

After the first 6 or so kept cod we started putting them back unless they were badly hooked and still ended up with a dozen and loads put back.

No ling today altho we did'nt try bait for them.

Looks like you had a good day flat seas and fish great well done does'nt look like you had to travel far to find them.

Lovely stamp of fish there, in wonderful conditions, definitely the day for the wrecks. Nice one lads

Spot on Martin , the sea was superb first thing this morning , the weather forcasts were spot on for a change , I came in about 4pm and passed Wicked Jack (David) on his way out , but by then the easterly had sprung up and it was getting cold and blustery.
