Mister Watson II 3/7/13 evening session

Well after not getting out for a couple weeks finally made a trip out. Had high hopes after our last trip out after getting quite a few cod. So off we headed to hard ground where we've had quite a bit success, on a bit of snotty sea considering the report. Think it was going to be one of those days, fished 3 hours and tried a few areas, used all different shads, twin tails and bait but caught absolutely nowt. So headed back towards base and tried for some mackerel a bit closer in, first drop and straight in. what a mad hour we had, every single drop over produced fish even a couple of small bass, which were returned for another day. Not what we went out for but enjoyed it anyway.

shame mate but that's fishing, can't win em all but you never know unless you give it a blast like! plenty bait now tho eh!

It has gone quiet Mark, so good job yous found some mackerel. Dropped a line a few times whilst out as cover boat at last weekends yak comp, but the only fish I got was a wrasse, so we need a quick recovery.
