Mog in may

Alright chaps, quick question. Is it worth fishing the mull in may or is it too early? Im happy targetting owt that's about!

I fished it in may about 5 year ago and only had dogfish on the bait and small Pollock and macky on the spinners. Much better around September time imho.

I usually work on. If there's leaves on the trees then you'll find fish. But June onwards is best. Warm sunny days

Cheers lads. Couple of mates are after a weekend fishing in may sometime. Id rather be sea fishing than after pike, but I guess it will be pike this time!

June and everything comes on when the bait fish arrive if you go earlier best results are usually on the bait, bottom fished

There will be plenty of doggies about also wrasse from the rocks but little chance of anything else.
Il be going up in the summer, was poor last year at the mog for me but always enjoy it
