Booked a charter for today travelled to the Marina in plenty time .... Things had changed so no trip for me ! I can understand how skippers feel when people don't turn up .... It works both ways .... Maybe I am missing something ... Now travelled back home

Hi mate
Which marina was it, if it was Hartlepool l think most of the charter boats pick up at the diesel pontoon which is right next to the lock gates, all boats have to go through the lock gates to get out to sea so that would be the best place to wait.

Can't understand why your charter trip was called off, there isn't much swell, and the winds are forecast 10-15mph south west, unless the rest of the party phoned in "sick". Tough break mate:(

I was down Whitby today and the sea was flat as anything, looked a nice day to be at sea fishing. May of just been a bit miss understanding.

Not seen any reports on this site or others for today so either everyone tired out winding in fish or nothing much was caught :)

I was out on Ali-Cat yesterday, along with Famous, Wandering Star, Lady Grace and Predetor to name a few other boats.
Beautiful day and Ling to 16lb, Cod 8/9ish, 2 cracking Haddock, Anglerfish and plenty Mackerel and a solitary Horse Mackerel
Great day out.
