went to lynemouth today\tonight, got there hour and half before high tide wasn't expecting owt as was flat as a pancake, plenty of people fishin like, had a bit crack with a husband and wife team who had a 4lb cod in the bag, nice fish so I thought theirs hope yet, got set up south of the pipe used lug,blacks,rag and had a couple of squid, nowt happening till it got dark then I started getting a few knocks,ended up getting a "just" sized codlin, was touch and go whether I kept it or not but with the knocks I was getting I thought their was a chance of something better so it went back to fight another day, anyway had a couple of knocks that came to nowt, still more than I was expecting though, couple of other lads had a dab apiece other than that nowt, could see a few lads fishin the Beacons, wonder how they got on?
