Def rotton bottoms fishes best in a northerly wind with a tide bigger than 4.7m cast about 1 o'clock vary your distance till you find the deeper water, anything other than a northerly swell it tends to fill with weed.

Not that many snags in the mudhole itself, snaggy if you cast either side of it.
