Yeah Andy I was about 15ft up on a ledge haha, Took a bit getting to the surface and Rob helped a lot as my braid was rubbing on the rocks, I managed to climb down and the swells helped get it on dry land, It kept washing up when I put it back but it finally swam off

Class mate. So is Rob taking most of the credit then? Ha ha.

Great that you got it back in safe as well. Got to watch ya fingers with them things.

He admitted to thinking I would fail when he was watching me bait up haha then he heard the ratchet going on my reel about an hour later, He begged me to let him use my gear after that haha :p

Rob ya should never think like that cos it always comes back to bite ya in the end.

At least he knows how it's done for next time Chris.

Excellent report. I thought u just spun for Pollack and macky from the rocks did not know u could fish for bigger stuff. The Conger is top dollar.

Yeah Mick I took my boat rod as its deep water over one side, I used a conger rig and a mackerel head with the guts then wedged my rod in the rocks with the ratchet on, After around an hour it started running then stopped dead until i started reeling then it ran again, It was a nightmare with my braid rubbing on the rocks and having to climb down around 15ft while trying to keep it on the surface but Rob was a great help.
Thanks all :)
