The main fish I target up there are Pollock and wrasse, float fishing rag worm or using lures, this year I'll be trying to land a few bass as well

We have a caravan in Drummore and are heading over 11 May. Its caravan no 5 on the Clasnwhannon site (it has a veranda overlooking the bay) Feel free to call in for a bit of advice or PM me on here.

Pollack and wrasse will be your main targets at the moment. I use fairly light spinning gear for them and a sliding float. Will have my bass head on when I go over though !!!

Mackerel when they are in dogfish, spurdog, pollock, conger, and all the others mentiond it was a fantastic place to fish 30 odd years ago not so sure now.
My mates and I were up there one year and there was a massive basking shark in the bay thats something i will never forget.
We fished further up from a mark called the flat rock on the left side of the Mull past Tarbet Bay as you head towards the lighthouse.
The last time i fished there there was bother with the farmer some odiots burning his fence, to many of them were starting to fish there and most of them were only them were only there to get p*ssed up.
Good Luck anyhoo.
