Muslim staff at Sainsbury allowed to opt-out of serving alcohol

Mr Corner Shop has no qualms selling underage kids booze :mad::rolleyes:

IMHO this would be deemed as quite patronizing to muslims

Makes me wonder how far it will go. Are we going to see hospital staff refusing to carry out a blood transfusion if it's against their religion?

It has become crazy though, if something goes against someone's beliefs work-wise then they surely shouldn't have taken the job in the first place. I had a chance of a job looking after animals when I was in my late teens, knocked it back because it was a research lab and much as I understood the need for the research I simply didn't feel it was something I could do...

On Monday boy is my gaffer going to have a shock... I'm going to adopt the Amish ways and turn up to work on a horse. If they haven't got a stable or hitching post then I'll sue them for lack of parking provision on the grounds that I can't use public transport as the Government of this country does not provide a religious alternative and neither does my company. When I get in the office, well sorry but am I hell going to touch those fangled computer things - they're the devils work you know. If they crib about that and try to sack me, well I'll see them in a tribunal to sue them for discrimination against my new found religion and my human right to chose to change my views from not believing to believing that I can take the easy road because some twits provided a working test-case to the world.. Nice one Sainsbury..

Oil companies and religions run this planet last time I read the news. Thats why I stopped buying newspapers... I do miss the tits on page 3 mind. Though most of those worked for the latter.....

There is absolutley no pig in British supermarket bacon, we all know it's water, sodium meatwhatever chloride and a few chemicalised sling backs (Eh?) most bacon is made from trees these days, many muslims use british supermarket bacon (bsb) as a face mask these days. That's true I read it in a paper.

I laugh at people who say (no offence to anyone) "I'm going to the Pakki's for some Tabs" lol,just because these shop owners look the same,I look the same as a Frenchmen because I'm white,they are quite often Indian and normally of different religion anyway and they are'nt the best of friends,there name is quite often a give away,you should'nt stereotype people for the colour of there skin.
