Mussel Beds

Evening all.

Does anyone know if there's any Mussel Beds around the north east (Seaham/Sunderland/Shields etc) not only for bait but fancy cooking Mussels in Moule Marinieŕe (la de da!).

So does anyone know of any locations or is it a heavily gaurded secret by Bait Diggers/The French.

plenty old posts on here,re,mussels.get yourself down the wear {glass centre},on the big tides.ps,its no secret,unless you want to keep it to yourself.LOL.goodluck.wouldent fancy cooking them to eat mind??.

codseeker (trev), always picked mussel at Tynemouth, there's canny bed's at blyth aswell,
was alway's told not to eat shell fiish from the river but a haven't gone green yet....!
