I think there was a thread about it on the Lure Fishing section a while back, and the general concensus was to avoid the stuff - difficult to knot reliably, poor abrasion resistance and bad memory.....far better lines around for the money.
I got some given of a mate to try it feels like braid with a plastic covering has a little more stretch than braid but not as much as mono. Really smooth casting line though. But abrasive resistance is the same as braid very poor if I can find the spool John you can have it to try. I think it's more for float fishing or spinning than propper sea fishing lol
I've used it. First impressions it does what they say nice and thin casts a long way and no wind knots like you would get with braid but what they don't tell you is how poor it's abrasion resistance is. I lost a very good fish on the pier when the line broke. I think the line must have rubbed on a bit of wall sticking out or something as it was not a clean snap but a raggy rubbed through type break. I was gutted of course could have been a PB so I swore never to use it again. You could use it with a leader I suppose, that might make it better. Personally I don't trust it.
