need a bit info

alreet lads just been for a walk along marsdon beach and there look like
some nice spots to fish some rocky areas and sandy parts of the beach to
the left of the bay there is a island i think its called camal island ????
Done some home work on the beach but need a bit more info about the
island.

do you lose much tackle, can you get cut off. thinking of giving it ago
tomorrow night.

Them steps are a killer at marsdon i had to have a couple of pints before
i climb them lol :o:o:D:D:D

hi eddie t you know where mashen rock is on the beach well if you looking out at sea to the right of the rock they is an other little bay try fishing t here form 2 hours after high water to low water then back again but whatch the tide so you dont get stuck in the bay by the tide its about 2-3 hours wait for tide to drop so you can get back to big beach real good spot and at the other end of the beach fish just in front of first aid hut fish tide up form 2 hours after low water and down 4 hours them are to good spots that i know some body else on here might be able to help a bit better i dont lose much tackle there

thanks for the info. in front of the first aid hut looks a canny shot aswell.
 
eddie, that shot to the right of the rock is the first bay, then the 2nd and 3rd bays. all fish last of the ebb first of the flood. just be careful the further you go towards Souter on the big tides for getting back. there are a couple of decent holes at the back of camels island, from which iv'e had and lost good fish , if the sea has a lazy roll on , cast towards marsden rock with a gripper on, you can pick up fish behind the breakers. as for getting cut off, only on the bigger tides, but you dont have long to wait after high water on the middle range tides ( I would never go on on a big tide with an onshore wind ) hope this helps. too much info for the tunnel creepers lol.
