First trip of the year yesterday. Through the piers and headed south to the Northern Hills, we had two codling there and a big granny fish! The fishing went off at slack water so we moved around a bit trying off hauxley head and behind the coquet before a last ditch attempt at me avoiding a blank off killiekrankie for a flattie! All to no avail! My mate mickey taking all of the fish with me not even registering a bite, it was my birthday as well! It can only get better! Hopefully off through the week if the weather permits. Micky's fish were taken on baited hokkis but we tried everything from shads to razorfish and crab, I just don't think the fish are there in any numbers yet, still a great day out with flat calm seas.
Could anyone let me know how to add photo's to the report please, checked the FAQ's but couldn't see it there, thankyou, Graham.
