new fuji k class rings

i was asked by a forum member to build his rod with the new fuji K class rings and heres the finshed rod

Nice whipping there mate, nice rings to. Very odd looking, look like they've all been bent foward. Ano some boat rods have rings like these, but does is help with casting, reduced line friction, etc.???

this is wot hopkins and holloway sent me when i asked aout them.

Fuji have a very clever design to stop line tangling around the ring when casting, works on any type of line but in perticular braid. which has been known to loop around the ring. The frame of the ring tilts forward.

That butt ring seems to stand a long way off the blank ,can see a few of them needing replacing if used for fishing regularly.

is that a dyamite tip ring, cannot seem to get the correct sized ones for my new ttr and eliminator.

cash waiting if youve got a couple spare??, also a repair if possible?
