NEW HARTLEY OPEN - SUNDAY 18TH FEBRUARY 2007

Fishing 8am - 12pm. Register New Hartley Social Club from 6.30am on the day or at local tackle shops the day before.

Weigh-in 12.30 - 1.30pm at HQ.

Same as usual £1000 first prize, £7 entry plus sweeps. Good supporting prize table.

Free junior entry and prize for all them even if they don't catch.

I think more South Tyne shops need to be getting in on this act. You can rarely register for a North Tyne comp in South Tyne. Bloody frustrating for us southerners.

I'm sure many more shops south of the water would take them but to be honest it's a struggle to cover the shops in our area. We are a club with only about 14 members so the logistics of getting everything in and sorted for the next day is difficult.
Bear in mind the first prize and the supporting table I think it's worth a look. Some bigger clubs have struggled to get enough support to run an Open this year.
