me pals are fishing it for sure Peter but I\'m a bit short in the shekel dept. and the last thing I want to do is spectate, or worse still fish without entering and win which is what I do all the time when I go to sleep and dream.

Mind between 200+ (?) anglers I\'m sure there\'d be a few spare whiteworm, shorecrab and a bit yellow tail / king rag spare. I smoke Bensons as well. ring our lass on 0191 ************ and ask for Mercedes

.... and ask for Mercedes

that brough the memories back. When wor lass was in hospital having holly, there was a 14 (yes 14) year old lass from byker had just had a baby girl, this is the converstaion I overhead:

nurse: so have you thought of a name for the baby yet

charver: Aye

nurse: well, what are you going to call her

charver: Vitara

nurse (looking puzzled): thats and unusual name, why Vitara

charver: \'cos I woz in the back of a vitara when he babbied us...

and lo and behold another geordie was born into the paradise of byker

hallow tich
fished the hartley today.
the conditions were horendous,50moh n-easterlys
350 fished and only 19 weighed in,
the sea is one of the biggest of the winter. :D

:casstet:\" great stuff Iv a weeks holiday, the sea is to rough, its snowing out side,Iv got 40 tabs and a load of frozen bait.lets do it\" (The blues brothers) Looks like Blyth harbour is going to be a good spot, or the North end of W/Bay beach

Don\'t want to blow my own trumpet too much, but I won it with a 9lb 1oz cod on lug/mussel and crab from the middle skeer at Collywell....Won £1500 altogether. Tonybax was right, the conditions were terrible, huge sea on.

Well done Davy, fished it myself at Cullercoats. Caught nowt but a bloke the other side of a gully from me caught a 3lber. I\'ve never fished conditions as bad as that, when the snow came it was blowing so hard that I was struggling to stand up. Got a rig wallet for my troubles and a broken ring on my longbeach.
