new marks(could be worse in the dark!)

I do\'nt get to see my old school mate alot as he now lives in malaysia, and he only comes home now and again to visit his oldfolks.
A cracking cod angler and me the the very keen mate trawled the rocks and estuaries for enough lovely peeler for a magical days summer codding at one of his \"never fail\"marks
The Rumbling Kern looked kinda ominous to to the novice standing gazing north passed the kern to cullernose.
\"Howay Roy, come on man ,with all this peeler the fish\'ll be lowping
oot the watter at us ,spurred on by the chance of a decent fish we
edged along to where we should fish from, the weather was grand
the sea shimmered and everything looked perfect,my mate had to look at his reel set up (it had been about 18 month since last cast)
and I reached down and selected alovely popper and tied it to the hook, excited I\'d put the first sinker on I could get my hands on,a breakaway with heavy elastic bands on to stop it from breaking out
(in muckle seas) picked up the rod and let fly.
\"NO,NO,NO,NOOOOOOOOOH!\" is all I heard as with my back cast
attached my lead to the handle of the bait bucket and managed to
lob 50 prime peelers into the sea......ooops

Remember a couple of years ago fishing the beach in a massive sea, which was easing off a bit, there was me and the bairn,he was up the beach behind me I ran down as the sea retracted to cast out, great cast as well,I walked briskly up the beach,I noticed the bairn waving like mad then WHOOOOSH YA FU### I was flat on me face taking in gallons of water and sand to boot the bairn said its the biggest wave he had ever saw,i got up and laughed as you do ! then noticed my bait bucket up side doon and rolling around,I said #uck this and went home sulking, moral of the story is never turn your back on something big and hard and never take cheeky kids fishing cos they never forget things...................Dad ye remember when..............Dad ye remember when...........ahhhh.
:D
