just been delivered from the usa looking forward to the weekend,I had 2 pay duty on the reel just over £35 so it stands me £180 now but looks worth every penny roll on saturday now 2 try it out

you can show me yours on friday garyp, i've not actually seen them befor, herd a little about them. But only that their supposed to be good.

Anyone fancy filling in some details/opinions on them?

solid,blingy,fast,hold loads of line all made in usa no korean parts inside or chinese really good reels thats why i,ve got 2 and my sons have 1 each rainbow reels as i,m a reet tackle tart caught a 5lber on 1 of them no bother at all which is nothing to what they can haul in 90lb tuna,huge halibut etc which are on the avet website bling!! bling!!

lol, yeh agree, they are blingy.

Ive only fished with it once, mags are good, the reels are perhaps slow straight out the box, but thats a good thing til you get used to them.

Its hard to explain but you can feel the difference in build quality when you hold them, feels bombproof.

i would say the magged version is slightly over magged as i also have the unmagged 1 aswell and that is fast took some taming at 1st in the right hands it has got potential lads have already done 240 yrds what i read on another site enjoy anyway welcome to the bling world

18to20lb do,nt overfill it like i did also fill up with backing 1st you will get more fills 4 your money such a deep spool

I just got me second one earlier this week, both in gunmetal grey (silver)

Cant wait to get the rods paired up and give them a decent shot.

Anyone thats had one from new, did you's have to clean out grease etc to help free them up?

Lever drag reel m8, mc (mag control), seem to hold a bit more line than a 525mag. Buy it m8, don't know if I want this one, or the bigger 5.8 one myself?

Gonna have a clearout soon m8, do you not want the first dibs on the "bat cave"?
