newbiggin bay short session

Headed down to the south end of the bay for a quick 2 hour sesh yesterday with a friend who has never been before and as conditions for flattie bashin was perfect, first cast on the bait rod produced a flounder of 1.2lb then nothing for half an hour then on last 2 casts, winkled out a dab the size of an average mans hand and another smaller flounder around 3\4lb mark.
All in all a good short session in the sun and me mate enjoyed it even if he did only catch 1. bait used were mackerel cubes.
