With a decent sea on i was a little optimstic! me and a mate fished just 3 up 1 down, the bay was lit up like blackpool iluminations with other expectant anglers, however, with just one small knock which resulted in nowt, a blank it was didnt see anyone else with anything either. bring on the Northerlys !!

It's very quiet on the coast at the moment mate but the river Tyne is giving up some fish according to the reports

hi had a look at sea last nite up here and as you say looked like it would throw a few fish out, was unable to get out myself was gutted about it, never mind at least you got to try.

we need a decent sea running for a few days now to stir things up for the codling to move closer to shore. lets hope the northlies and seas come away next week.

seems like everyone is chomping at the bit to get out.
