5:30 drove down to roker to a nice closed gate bummer, we headed for shields and fished the red groin tower till 9:30 had 4 tommys but only good thing there was no wind there, after losing gear gear and more we headed back to roker to find it open , tryed the barrier and second steps area but sea was running big and could not even tell if had a bite plus the wind was very bad packed up at 12:30, might get a big one one day
