No luck with lures but in the right plaice!

Had an experimental lure trip last night for an early bass. They didn't play ball unfortunately. I also took a rod set up with small peeler baits and managed to pick up this handsome plaice of 1lb 4oz, an undersize codling, and a one that got away. Felt quite substantial for this time of year, however I lost the fish whilst guiding it through a channel before I got the chance to see it.

welldone mate, strange to get a plaice at night theres bass about not had any on lures in the area but had a couple up the coast on redgills
