looking to locate marks i have heard of many times north end of horden beach
the likes of tommy rock/black water etc

took me a little while to know white rock but above marks how can i find out were they are
and can you still park near these shots and is there a stair lift up and down bank.

I don't know it mate, but a pal of mine took me to a shot at the North End where there was a car park at the cliff top then a set of steps down to where a pipe comes in. We had bass and big whiting last year when we fished if in November time. It was a hard slog back up the steps mind. I did a little map showing the route down and the parking we used. Hope its helpful in some way.

John...from north to south marks are as follows - foxholes, bell hole, waterhole, mucky bay, Tommys rock, flight, mussel rocks, black water, the landslide, white rock then your into Blackhall, but I think most consider the blocks as Horden also
Some marks are known by different names also.

The car park mentioned has many reports of damaged cars mind, I dont park there anymore - I park on the housing estate and walk through the dene - long walk mind oh and the tranche is a pain if you dont know where to get down.

Not easily accessable on foot - I've got an op coming up and going to be out of action for a few weeks. If you fancy a session at Horden drop me a PM from end of Nov onwards, I'll be there regular anyway. Hope that helps

some easier ways to get to all these marks , but it means crossing the railway lines , so im not mentioning any of them . :D

you can walk through the garden allotments though and go across the bridge to get to white rock , sandy banks , flight , mucky bay etc . your car will also be safe .

Access to the flight car park is no more.
This road now has a steel barrier across the road, near the railway arch.

And also there is a barrier at the top of Deneholm, so that means no more 4x4 on the beach. Those who find a way onto the beach with 4x4 are receiving fines off the police via the Natural Trust. (They have caught 5 vehicles in the last month)

Our last club match one of the lads had his car vandalised so beware parking near the flight bridge as well.

No access across any railway lines now, fencing has now been strengthened in preparation for the new station.

Lots of money was spent cleaning the beaches up on the so called Heritage coast , what for? The access is crap everywhere , nowhere safe to leave your car and the fishing was better when the water was full of crap.
