whats the best time to fish the fish quay, ie big or small tides, flood or ebb, best baits etc etc. its not my usual river mark but i fancy a change from high shore.

Its best on small tides mate either 2 hours b4 low and after and the same with high water.The best time of the tide being slack water and i always do best with crab and lug for the codling with a big chuck and lug and makril for colies and whiting with a big chuck

make sure you take plenty of lead,can be good if you can cast well past the snags,bait crab lug,lug mussel
never been a great mark for me for big bags,but had a 9 1/2 from there some years ago.
give it your best shot

For codling if there is a big sea running into the river & not a lot of flood water.
