Left Hartlepool at 0700 to sail into a glorious day and hopes were certainly high. Had 6 lads onboard and sailed East for a good hour and a half. Got to our first drift and bang fish coming in all round the boat, first drift produced about 20 cod and the odd ling for those that fished for them. Jim put us on the same drift again and the lines went down and bang all rods into fish from the off again, this kept on going all day with an average of 20-30 fish a drift, in total there must have been over 200 cod on board between the 6 off us, thanks Jim for an outstanding day one that won't be forgot in a hurry. All my fish fell to my beloved rippers but most methods worked today.
