the day had arrived :D i was going on the north star:exclam:
although i had spoken to jim(skipper) a few times theres always a bit of anticipation/nervousness about meeting someone for the first time:exclam:

are you going to instantly dislike him:question: is the boat a pile of crap:question: is the crewman a tosser:question:

:D:D:D:D:D:D:Dim delighted to say NONE of my fears were founded:D:D:D:D

met jim and chris at the fish dock (secure parking, your locked in that way jims sure of gettin your money:exclam::exclam:)

down to the boat:exclam: do you want tea or coffee fom chris:exclam: ho ho this is my kind of boat:exclam::exclam:

as a newcomer jim gave me a tour of the cabin, safety gear etc.

the cabin is massive, with a CLEAN flush toilet, gas cooker, and plenty room to get all anglers in,its damn near luxury standard.

there were 8 of us on board plus chris and jim,5 regulars myself and another 2 lads

ling was to be the fish of the day at least 3 double figure fish and quite a few more, cod were scarce on the day,and then the usual mackarel and quite a lot of good sized whiting:)

at £25 for 10hrs at sea, coupled with tea/coffee and chris and his banter/comments plus a canny bunch of lads one of my better days:exclam: ill be back on sept 11:eek: wind and weather permitting:)

Excellent report LK. Good when all your doubts are blown away on first contact.

Duncan , you're a scream mate :D , I burst out laughing at this report , I can just imagine you on a blind date , having a sneaky look first to see if she's a minger :D , glad you enjoyed your day out , I buzzed the Warlord today looking for someone that looked like he might be a Duncan , I think they all thought I was a nutter driving round her in circles :red:

no bill you just twisted your face all day and kept moving from side to side (mind you did get told of the skipper more than once)if you wanted a tour of the boat you should have asked, the toilet was just behind you ,you not bought your charter boat yet,the last i heard from you ,were going out on your mates brand new boat ,never got a catch report back, hope the son is keeping well nice lad, hope you have turned your reel around, instead of using it upside down, with 12 macky feathers on it for COD fishing
and can you tell us how many hours you got for your £40 each,i would say about 8 hours actual fishing time thats £5 a hour not bad at all for a very stable fast clean fishing platform

your paranoid .

your paranoid .

:Dhave i named which boat i was on for this price etc no. bill you getting paranoid mate think will phone dave tmos tell him bwt your problem infact might make an arrangement to meet him.:D

skippering

dave reads nesa himself, when he has time :D:D:D:o:o:o

1 thing we did notice wen was out with you was that you were skippering the boat back home and we were wandering if you had all your credentials to do this as if didnt the boat insurance would have been void and there was few children on board.you did earlier say that you were just a deck hand so think something smells bit fishy.
