My lass has decided she wants to go to north Wales while we're off work together so I'm gonna pack the gear nd do a bit of fishing while we're there. Have any of yous been before and has anyone got any advice, were to stay where to fish etc, cheers!

ive been going to the Lleyn penninsular for 16 years.

theres always somewhere to get out fishing whatever the weather.

loads of rock and beach marks to choose from, secluded beaches for sunbathing and nice shopping areas.

Stopped at the caravan park in Conwy a few years ago, fished the estuary a couple of times just behind the golf course, yer can virtually fish out of the car, was getting a codling a chuck on fresh crab only about 1 1/4 but kept me busy. Tides make it hard work there but doable. Some nice bars and restaurants in the town also. You can get some good fresh bait at a little tackle shop right on the sea front at Rhos too.

Cheers lads and good read Ian, can't wait to do a bit fishing there. Is there a tackle shop there to get some bait from?

Hello,
I agree with dabcatcher, there's always somewhere to fish and some great scenery. Spoilt for choice with species too. Here's a report I put on a few year ago.
