Out with Jim on Northstar again today, what a cracking day we had, eight of
us fishing, and all went home with fish, a good few cod were caught with yours truly pulling two out at the same time (a first for me), some nice size ling which at one point had Jim not knowing who`s to net first, plenty size whities which were starting to become a pain and loads of mack, a couple gurnard and pouting were also thrown in for good measure, also lost two good fish on the retrieve with one of them putting a good bend in my 50lb
class rod, all in all a great days fishing.

A good day was had by all with everyone getting fish of some discription and a first for me an angler that won't touch fish does'nt like the feel apparently thats him in the photo holding the ling in a towel. Shame about the lost fish though stevie but always next time

Canny day Steve, when did you grow the other pair of Arms though? Can only use one pair in the Matches mind.

Cheers lads, yes was a great day out, hopefully more to come, Bob from what I`ve heard the matches have been total crxp, but just been and got some worm so will see how it goes tomorrow.
