We left hartlepool at 07:00 as planned, having put it to the vote between North and East, the party said they would like to go North so North it was. The first drop produced a nice fish of about 4lb, followed straight after by a new competition leader, a ling of 15lb 6oz caught by Colin Setterfield - well done that man. We had a move and pretty much all day we were catching codling. However, the majority of which were only a couple of pound and these lads are spot on with their catch and release and took nothing less than 3lb. So needless to say a lot of fish went back to fight another day. The day ended well with some nice fish taken. We also managed a few wrasse and Golden B***s finished with a couple of nice cod. All in all it was a great day with great craic from a good bunch of lads.

Thanks lads for a great day.

Excellent Day

Thanks for a brilliant day Jim. The lads thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice for me to catch those two Cod on last two drops of the day. Thats when I got the abuse Golden B***s. The craic never let all day. It was nice to see Colin win the sweep with a Ling of 15lb 6oz, well done mate. Thanks again Jim Excellent Skipper. Chris
