Well no party today so went down to the boat to do some tidying up and a bit of maintenance by the time that was done the sun was out so with a box of squid i decided to have a run out by the time i got to the end of the pilot pier visibility was down to about 100 yards but by the time i got to the lighthouse corner the sun was back so that was that anchor in 2 rods in the water kettle on feet up peace and quite great. Fishing was slow not a bite for the first 30mins then they came pretty much constant for about 45mins but mostly whities any way i ended up with 5 codling heaviest 5lb smallest 2lb all returned to fight another day all in all a pleasant 2 hours.

Nice one Jim :), sounds like a chilled out session, with some canny codlings chucked in, sounds like you're getting the hang of this charter skipper lark :D;)
