Northumbria Police SAC - Blyth 14th Oct 2012

11 Anglers turned out to fish Blyth area (boundaries between River Blyth and Tynemouth Pier) with most targeting Blyth Pier where a few codling/coalies/flatties were caught. A few fished Tynemouth beach which had a fairly heavy swell but produced 2 codling (54cm and 47cm) for Steve Smith which won him the match with biggest bag and biggest fish. Scored using the SAMF scoring chart.

Well done lads i was over the moon to pull my eel in - meant i was not blankety blank. Kept putting out big baits looking for a big fish in a lovely sea but no luck.
