fished the mark last night before dark as the sea was dropping off.
Blanked myself (no peeler) but another well known angler who I was fishing with pulled in a nice 5lb fresh run cod, fish was on fresh crab.

no photos unfortunatly.

apparently some boats are doing unusually really well locally, things might be looking up for the coming season.

well done to lad for getting cod ,dos,nt suprise me though chems hawthorn point always good for cod after a blow even this time of year.
