I had a wander down to the sea front after work tonight and took a camera. The wind was ripping spindrift up in plumes around St Mary’s yellow can, it’s in there somewhere.
To the south a couple of larger boats were at anchor, they must have a lot of holding power. The white patches in the picture are spray driven like mist over the white horses.
A familiar sight to the north showed how much shelter the sea had in the lee of the land and cliffs, but out to sea was a different story. I love my fishing but nothing would get me out on a day like this.
