not a good night

was fishing a mark at tynemouth monday night nothing but small stuff. bait was rag, lug, black lug, razor, mussel, mackeral,squid and crab lovely baits. as i was walking back to car stopped and asked a lad how he was fishing and he had a 4lb cod and a 10lb cod only 5o yards from where i was. gutted it was not me but well done to the bloke.

Better than spending the night watching rubbish on TV. The fishing has been patchy but the reports of better fish and bags are encouraging.
