just sat here thinking and the conclution i.ve come to is that we don't have a massive choice of fish to catch on our coast, summer you have macky, coalies, a few flatties and sometimes a bass or a few pollock and thats about it , winter is no better you have the cod [few and far between lately] whiting, and now and again a flattie or two and if you get anything else it's a big bonus, in between summer and winter you can forget about it, there's really nothing worth writing home about,so why do i look forward to every new season with excitement, and just a little bit of hope,you tell me.
