Not much luck

Fished the walkway at shields tonight over low water and first flood,waste of time,lots of very small whiting,eating crabs,velvet crabs but no codling.Anybody fished here recently if yes whats fishing well, my guess is fresh crab?

Fished there last night from 3/10/07 from 6.30pm til 12.30 am had nine codling all sized biggest was exactly 3lb a couple 2lbers aswell bait used was fresh yellowtails.

Nice one mate! i was fishing with rag which was attracting every living thing except codling,maybe take some blacks with me next time.

Yer i got a bit rag off one of the lads who was fishing a match when he finished and put a couple of casts out with it coming back clean obviously crabs were taking it.

Still a bit warm need a couple of hard frosts to calm the crabs down,then rag will start to fish better.(in theory)

fished there last night took coalies and whiteys on rag and got a nice little cod on crab, ended up keeping the cod for me ma, it'd swallowd the hook that far down i coulnt even see it, found it while i was gutting it though.

Also opend its stomoch up, was full of small crab and fish
