not normally fish

went out fishing last night cos had a match with he shields club, as the weather was pretty bad a opted for a shot a not normally fish on ebb tide as quite a few rocks show at low water but got a bit shelter from wind and rain. was quiet for a couple of hours then bang a rod bending bite thinking this is a good fish when reeling in and a big let down when a massisve lump of weed showed and a 1lb.3oz cod on end then shortly after a little touch and pulled in a 1lb 8oz cod , then had to go as me match ended so a think a;ll go down a lttle earlier to night when a bit more water there and see if out else or a bit of fluke last night
